Title:   Black Glaze Cup Skyphos

Description:   Mended from many fragments but almost complete. Spreading ring foot, concave on outside. Fillet offset with two scraped grooves between foot and body, inset lip narrow and sharply concave. Reserved: outer face of foot, underside with five glazed circles and central dot, resting surface, inner part of handles and handle panels.
Poor black glaze, cloudy in places, mottled red over much of surface, and peeling.
Cf. Agora XII, nos. 573 and 576, ca. 500-480 B.C.
Context:   Well.
Handling:   The vessel should not be lifted by the handles.
