Large baggy body, short sloping shoulder. Groove at junction with up-turned projecting rim. Interior of rim with wide groove and sharp ridge for lid. Large horizontal handle, round in section, at junction of shoulder and body. Very coarse, heavy fabric. Gray core with large white inclusions and a little mica. Surface red-brown with carbon.
