Title:   Dish Fragment with Rouletting

Description:   Single fragment preserving one side of rim and wall. Shallow rounded wall (sloping on inside), concave floor; narrow downturned rim with flat lip, small mouldings at top and bottom edges, with slight rouletting between them. Stump of foot at inner break. Interior plain.
Light orange-red clay, red gloss with minor flaking.
Unclassified ware, possibly Sagalassos or Italian (?). Shape looks like late 1st. cent. B.C.
Notes:   Inventoried February 1998.
Context:   Drain, red fill under line of fallen stones (context mixed) to Roman.
