Description:   Single piece of rim and outer floor. Shallow curved floor, upright tapered rim, overhanging a little at bottom. Inside burnished to form a pattern: series of concentric lines near rim, wide polished band, and unpolished band at break.
Red clay with fine granular texture; brick-red slip, polished, ending on underside.
African red slip ware, form 87A. Rim higher and thinner than on P 27155, 27156; probably early in series.
Notes:   Down to -1.25m. Added 15 November 1999.
Context:   Cistern system, east chamber.
