Title:   Black Glaze Bowl

Description:   Broken; lacking most of side wall. Restored in plaster. Heavy flaring base ring; side walls rise in a gentle unbroken curve; narrow out-curved rim pierced for suspension.
Buff clay, covered on the inside and upper part of outside with metallic black glaze which has fired red on the floor where another vase was stacked.
Context:   Cistern.
