Title:   Reversible Lid: West Slope

Description:   Much of side wall missing. Restored in plaster. High flaring base ring, deep body, vertical rim; on bottom within base ring a star of eight points alternately white and yellow. Glaze scratched from a groove in the bottom of base ring; side wall bordered above and below by two grooves from which the glaze has been scratched, enclosing in each case a band of pairs of short dashes alternately vertical and horizontal. The vertical dashes of the lower zone done in white, the rest in yellow; between the two zones a continuous garland consisting of a wavy stem in white paint and conventional flowers in thin clay.
Fine buff clay, metallic black glaze; where glaze has been scratched away, the surface is covered with miltos.
