Title:   Moldmade Bowl

Description:   Much broken; lacking parts of base and side wall. Restored in plaster. Shallow, flat-bottomed, with slightly rolled lip. In the medallion a rosette with two series of petals and one of sepals; around the medallion a band of small ribbed leaves; from this band spring alternately acanthus leaves, long-stemmed flowers and petals with sepals superimposed; in the upper zone a band of egg and dart between raised lines; there is no scratched line beneath the lip.
Red clay, covered with firm glaze which is fired red over the lower part both inside and out.
