Description:   Rim sherd of a plate, with a scrap of hanging flange.
On outside of flange, stamped ovolo pattern (units: egg with spathate dart on right, with fine notching at lip; flat top of rim plain apart from a slight groove. (Atlante II, form 7).
Light orange fabric, darkish red slip, somewhat glossy.
Date of Deposit: ca. 50-20 B.C.

Context:   Middle Terrace, patch of soft burnt fill.
