Title:   Black Figure Stamnos

Description:   Mended from many pieces; considerable portions missing, and restored in plaster. Ring foot; flat projecting rim with raised edge around the inside. Two horizontal handles.
Coarse reddish buff clay; buff slip. Thin brownish black wash on the lip, and for two broad bands around the body just below the handles. Above these bands, an ivy garland, roughly painted in the same glaze. Unglazed inside.
Context:   Well. Context second half of 4th c. B.C.
