Title:   Oinochoe with Lid
ΤΙΤΛΟΣ:   Eυρύστομη πρόχους με πώμα. 750 - 725 π.Χ.

Description:   Flat bottom; rising handle from rim to point of greatest circumference; a strut from its middle to the neck. Solid black glaze only around the bottom; the rest of the vase decorated with narrow black bands and with a zone of chevrons on the body, and on the neck a maeander between two zones of connected lozenges. Short strokes on the top of the lip; on the handle, black glaze on one side; on the other, none; the inside also unglazed.
Pinkish buff clay, much peeled.
ΠΕΡΙΓΡΑΦΗ:   Γεωμετρική ευρύστομη πρόχους με κάλυμμα. Στο λαιμό διακρίνεται πεδίο με κόσμημα μαιάνδρου, ανάμεσα σε δύο ταινίες, διακοσμημένες με συνεχόμενους ρόμβους. Στο σώμα φέρει διπλή κυματιστή γραμμή, εντός της οποίας, διακρίνονται συστήματα παράλληλων διασταυρωμένων γραμμώσεων.
