Title:   Bowl with Relief Decoration

Description:   A heavy foot, broken away. The flare of the sides suggests a shallow open bowl. On the outside, moulded in low relief, draped female figures, left; part of six preserved, with space for one more; a standing type alternating with a moving one.
The clay fine, buff, faintly pinkish, as Samian, but without mica. The glaze orange-red; dull; unevenly applied and fired. Brush marks from the glazing apparent on the inside.
