ΤΙΤΛΟΣ:   Μυροδοχείο γιρλάντα κισσοδιακοσμημένο με εναλλασσόμενα αβακωτά και ομόκεντρα ορθογώνια, περιδέραια 250 - 210 π.Χ.

Description:   Plump fusiform shape; about half of body and all of neck, missing. On shoulder, ivy garland with leaves and berries. Around point of greatest circumference, alternating checkerboard and concentric squares; below, festoons with dots above, pendents below.
Black glaze; thinned clay paint with white in checkerboard. Drip of glaze inside.
ADDENDA Fragments added Feb. 1950 from Box 216a giving neck and more of shoulder.
ΠΕΡΙΓΡΑΦΗ:   Δακρυδόχος (Unguentarium), κατηγορίας δυτικής κλιτύος, με πολύχρωμο διάκοσμο. Λείπουν θραύσματα από το σώμα και το λαιμό του αγγείου. Φέρει κόσμημα πεδίου σκακιού και ομόκεντρων τετραγώνων.
