Description:   Similar to P 5998 (Γ 1599) in shape and fabric. A small bit of the rim preserved, joining; another piece does not join.
Glaze fired red and much peeled, runs down on the outside in places over the foot.
ADDENDA P 5998: Similar to P 5997 (Γ 1598) but with ring foot; rim less flaring and the junction of rim and floor sharply set off inside. P 5997: Raised base, concave below, sharply profiled at junction of floor and wall; outward flaring rim.
