Description:   Restored in plaster. Similar to P 6234; slightly deeper and the rim more rounded. Large triangular stamped palmettes surrounded by rouletting at center of floor. Traces of stacking. Restored in plaster.

Black glaze somewhat pitted.
ADDENDA P 6234: Large plate with ring foot and rolled rim. Wide groove on outside below rim.
Context:   Cistern. Lower, Hellenistic fill.
