Title:   Kantharos: West Slope

Description:   Similar in shape to P 6304; much of wall missing. Restored in plaster. Incised groove below handle zone. In handle zone front and back, thin clay paint knots and torches, the latter wreathed and ribboned with white, and white dot rosettes.
Metallic black glaze fired brownish inside.
ADDENDA P 6304: Somewhat more slender in proportions than P 6302 and P 6303, and with upper body slightly concave. P 6302: Ring foot. The body squat; rounded below, above straight and sloping in slightly toward the top.
Context:   Cistern. Lower, Hellenistic fill.
