Description:   The base, most of one wall, and parts of rim and handles restored in plaster. Swelling body; small, nearly straight rim: the shape as P 6417 (Η 610) but much larger. Combination vertical and horizontal handles: the horizontal handles, round in section, joined to the rim by a broad flat band. The lower part of the pot glazed, with a broad reserved band containing three glazed stripes. Above (below the handle) rays, bordered above and below by two glazed bands. Handle zone: central panel, hatched maeander bordered by horizontal zigzags above and below. On each side, horizontal zigzag, small vertical zigzag, and horizontal zigzag; all the patterns separated from each other and framed by three or more narrow bands. Next to the handles, on each side of the central panel, a horse, facing inwards towards the maeander, under the handle, a small duck, right; the wings indicated by a grate pattern. The horizontal portion of the handles banded and hatched; on the vertical portion a St. Andrew's cross with dots in the spaces. On the rim, outside, a row of dots between bands of glaze; on the top, groups of straight strokes.
Reddish black glaze, thin inside, much worn outside.
