Title:   Amphora Fragments

Description:   a) Neck and shoulder fragment, which are divided by a triple band. On the neck, part of a large dotted maeander running left; on shoulder, part of a man's head left. In front, a hanging hook filled with dots.
Attic clay; slip, brownish glaze.
b) A second fragment, from the neck, not joining, found 22 October 1949 (ΝΝ 4982), from the "Ostrakon fill, nerochomata layer". Preserved is part of the maeander filled with a double row of dots and bordered by plain bands.
Context:   Red sand road fill, 6th. c.-earlier fill.
