Description: | Preserved, about one-fifth of the upper body, with one handle. Shallow bottom, probably on flaring short stand, and high flaring, slightly concave side wall. Inside, black glaze with six pairs of added purple bands. Outside, from rim: black band bordered above and below by pairs of fine bands of added purple; tongue pattern alternating red and black; black band as above; two double rows of dots, bordered and separated by fine black double bands; a black band as the two above; palmette band, retouched with purple; double row of dots bordered above and below by triple fine black band; tongue patern, alternating black and purple; dots below. Attic clay; very thin fabric. | |
