Broad handle zone, with series of concentric circles, horizontal zigzag above and below. Three narrow bands; broad band; three narrow bands. Below unglazed. Cross stripes on the handle. Broken and mended in antiquity; holes for mending clamps remain. ADDENDA Severely broken in night-time accident. Removed for mending [14 July 1956]. Remended [April 1957]. | |
