Title:   Cup Fragment: Inscribed
ΤΙΤΛΟΣ:   Σκύφος με διακόσμηση ιχθύων 650 π.Χ. περίπου

Description:   Much missing, but profile complete. Several fragments do not join. Low ring foot; rounded body; straight lip. Maltese cross on bottom outside. Dots on foot. Above foot, rays, alternating black and purple; then a purple band; then more rays ending in hooks forming a wave pattern, purple. Above, a row of fishes swimming right, their lower bodies filled with purple, interior details incised. Above, zigzags and dot rosettes. Rim divided into panels and inscribed in glazed letters: <graphic>
Inside glazed red, with three horizontal purple bands. At center of floor, hooked wheel in reserved center; bands around. Pattern on inside of rim same as on outside, but with double spirals instead of letters between triglyphs.
ΠΕΡΙΓΡΑΦΗ:   Δίωτος Πρωτοαττικός σκύφος με εγχάρακτη και γραπτή διακόσμηση. Αποτελείται από αρκετά θραύσματα. Φέρει ακτινωτή και γεωμετρική διακόσμηση, ενώ διακρίνονται και παραστάσεις ιχθύων. Στο χείλος διακρίνονται εγχάρακτα γράμματα.
