Description: | A deep cup with convex walls and small out-turned lip. High stem; small moulded foot with a scraped groove around and one beneath. Fragments from the body, and most of the lip missing, with one handle and part of the other. Restored in plaster. Ornament in thinned clay paint and white: net pattern below wave pattern at handle attachment zone. Above, dolphins, beribboned torches, and vegetal ornament, all neatly painted. Inside, considerable remains of miltos. Inscribed just under lip: Φ] Ι Λ [ Ι Α Σ (?) | |
