Description: | From a large heavy plate on low ring foot; the underside moulded. The start of the rim preserved. Herakles and Nike left, in a chariot. Preserved is the upper part of Herakles, part of his club, and a swirl of drapery around his shoulders; in front of him, part of the head and shoulder, the wing and the drapery of Nike. Heavy relief contour for Herakles' brow, nose and body contour. White for the fillets of both figures and for the flesh of Nike, with traces of yellow drawing over. | |
