Title:   Black Glaze Stemless Cup with Incised Decoration

Description:   Mended from many pieces. Complete save small fragments of rim and body and parts of both handles. A stemless cup with low moulded ring foot. Offset lip on interior but not on exterior. Stamped pattern covers most of floor of cup: three concentric rings of long tongues. Beneath foot concentric raised rings. Small central circle reserved with dot and two black rings in thin glaze. Glaze, fine lustrous black, worn off on one side.
Context:   From the two narrow trenches at right angles to each other cut in red earth and filled with brown. With P 8950-P 8952 (Δ 595-597), and sherds in box.
