Title:   Stamnos with Paint Decoration

Description:   Mended from many fragments; bits of lip, shoulder and base, and much of lower body missing. Restored in plaster. Ring foot, egg-shaped body, small lip rectangular in section, two horizontal handles rising from the shoulder. Decoration of wide and narrow matte brown bands around rim, shoulder, upper body and base. Wavy line on shoulder.
Hard purplish clay; dull buff slip.
Context:   Well F, north slope, trench 2. Late Turkish context.
