Description:   Shoulder piece with part of lower wall at sharp angle to shoulder and bit of flaring neck. On shoulder, a lion's head spout, crudely made, and a vertical round handle, fully pierced, triply grooved on exterior.
Reddish-brown clay. Metallic red glaze on exterior and interior.
ADDENDA Bottom and rim fragments found in mending. Restored in plaster.
Context:   Cistern, abandoned fill.
