Title:   Amphora with Dipinti

Description:   Mended from many pieces; all of top missing, and of bottom, save for one non-joining fragment; a number of other small pieces do not join. Nearly cylindrical body tapering slightly towards top; small vertical handles. Body heavily wheel-ridged.

Coarse dark red clay. Mastic inside.
ADDENDA More fragments found in mending. Profile now complete. Restored in plaster. Wide-mouthed jar with low neck, two vertical handles and a rounded bottom ending in a knob (the last missing).
ΠΕΡΙΓΡΑΦΗ:   Οξυπύθμενο, ενεπίγραφο αμφοροειδές αγγείο, με οριζόντιες αυλακώσεις. Λείπουν θραύσματα από το σώμα του αγγείου. Αποκατεστημένο με γύψο.
