Title:   Relief Plaque Fragment

Description:   Upper right quarter of thin plaque; front and back surfaces and a curving edge at top.
The front bears in relief the nude upper part, except the right arm, of a woman (Nereid ?) looking to her right. A scarf held in her left hand, flutters over and behind her head.
The face is worn almost featureless.
Back cut with saw chisel. In the roundish top edge, a small hole, centered over the figure's head.
Pentelic marble.
