Description:   Right leg, broken below knee and above ankle.
Slight vertical ridge on back above ankle and slight roughness on back of calf indicate proximity of something. Heavy weathering on front and proper left side, cf. S 1953 (Ο 1046). Excellent modeling.
From Stoa of Zeus.
Pentelic marble.
Joins foot of Nike among boxed fragments under S 312.
Cf. also S 2335 (ΒΓ 101).
ADDENDA Initially thought to perhaps belong to a figure (reclining?) of the same pediment as Herakles from Hephaisteion, since scale and quality of work are reminiscent.
