Title:   Draped Female Figure Fragment from Relief

Description:   Broken all around.
Part of legs of a female figure wearing a himation, one corner of which hangs down between the knees. She faces left, leaning on a smooth (cylindrical or conical?) support over which the himation falls in elaborate folds.
Very careful, rather hard workmanship. Considerable weathering on the more projecting portions.
For the pose, cf. the Pheidian Aphrodite type and reflections in late 5th century.
Pentelic marble.
