Title:   Head of Youth

Description:   Nearly life-size. The surface of the head above the right ear shows a flat pick-marked area about 0.09m. x 0.012m. The right side of the face is eroded, and the bridge of the nose worn down from the right. Part of the neck is preserved above an oblique break higher at the back.
The head is inclined left, the glance directed slightly right (drilled eyeballs). The hair is a curly mass falling below the ears behind. It is impressionistically rendered by a rough surface, with shallow wavy lines off the brow.
Pentelic marble.
