Title:   Statue of Athena

Description:   Missing head, both arms, edges of mantle and ends of feet. Foot wear on back.
She wears a small aegis with dowel holes for the attachment of metal snakes, a peplos with a long overfold and buttoned sleeves, and a small mantle attached to aegis at shoulders and falling down back. She stands straight on, left arm raised, left knee bent. Rough-picked hair falls down back.
Pentelic marble.
Context:   Reused as step in front of threshold of Room 12, late Roman House H, Areopagos Hill.
