Title:   Portrait Head of Female Figure

Description:   Broken at neck, chips missing of chin, lips, tip of nose, but generally in fine condition.
Full rounded face with good details around eyes: pupils and irises both incised, prominent upper eyelid with tear-duct, overlapping lower eyelid at outer edge. Eyebrows indicated with light incision along ridges. Hair parted in middle and pulled in waves over the ears, shown as parallel wavy strands. Pulled back in a large, bound bun at the back of the head. Hair style and drilled eyeballs: 2nd c. AD.
Pentelic marble.
Context:   Byzantine Wall in Room B.
