Title:   Back Panel of Funerary Naiskos

Description:   Broken at top and left side.
Claw chisel finish on the right. Back and bottom rough-picked. Figures placed on projecting ledge. At the left, the lower part of a female figure seated on a stool, which has a thin cushion and is draped. Her left arm holds the edge of her mantle out in front of her. She wears thick-soled sandals and rests her feet on a footstool. A second female figure stands at the right. She wears a peplos and mantle and holds a rectangular object, probably a box.
Fine grained white marble.
Context:   Among sepulchral marbles in garden of Hephaisteion.
