Title:   Head Fragment of Figure in Helmet
Category:   Sculpture
Description:   Only a fragment from the head, and the eye of the left side, remain.
The helmet has a broad and heavy band across the brow, and over it short locks of hair curl. Above the band, a series of drill holes (seven preserved). In middle of crown another drill hole. Immediately in front of this hole, a shallow rectangular sinking. Abundant traces of yellow paint on helmet above band extending over the rectangular sinking.
Pentelic marble.
Joins fragment PN S 16 (lower part of face).
Context:   Found left by earlier excavators in area of S.W. building.
