Title:   Draped Female Figure Fragments

Description:   Upper part of a woman somewhat under life-size.
Preserved are left shoulder, breast and part of upper arm. Head and neck insets, missing. The woman wears a thin, clinging chiton, highly girded, cf. S 462, and a himation slung low across stomach and over left forearm.
Careless work. Traces of reddish cement.
Fragment of lower torso added February 1954 from marble pile moved from section Δ.
Pentelic marble.
ADDENDA 2nd century B.C. or later (AS 1997).
Context:   Late Roman fill, about 1.00m. from modern surface, found with S 462 (Β 528).
Second fragment found in marble pile.
