Title:   Statuette of Aphrodite

Description:   Nude statuette with head, neck, left arm and feet missing.
Metal rods for the attachment of the feet have discolored the legs. There is also a drill hole in the upper left arm for a small similar rod. On the outside of the left leg, above the knee is a small iron strut.
S-curved body, with weight on right leg; right arm crossing body, left knee bent. The hair is messed at the back on four stiff locks, cut straight at the bottom.
Inferior work. Knidian type.
Parian marble.
