Title:   Head of Female Figurine

Description:   First interpretation: head with high figured crown.
Front part of head carrying a kanoun.
Preserved to chin. Piece of kanoun broken off right side.
Worn features. Curly hair which seems to hang down over shoulders. Hands raised to support a kanoun with the statue of a goddess in a shrine with arched top; on either side uncertain ornament (partly plume ?) ending in a piece which hangs below the lower edge of the canoun.
Mould-made, hollow, but head solidified by lump of clay stuffed in. Traces of white color.
Soapy pinkish buff clay.
Context:   Cistern.
