Description: | First interpretation: standing nude male figurine. Chest and lower part of head, with stumps of arms preserved. The left arm was stretched straight out at the side, the right also partly extended. A single heavy curling lock of hair falls to the shoulder at either side. Back plain, inside hollow. Traces of white. Light red to pinkish-buff clay. ADDENDA: Seated goddess, with arm over back of klismos. For head cf. T 1389. Cf. Hesperia 64 (1995), p. 430, n. 117. | |
