Title:   Male Head

Description:   Head of a man with beetling brows and a moustache. Mouth open. Hair at back indicated only in part, and with rough cross-grooving.
Broken off across neck; chin chipped.
Solid. At the back is attached an irregular piece of clay, as if for a sort of handle; stump only preserved.
No color.
Pink to buff clay.
Context:   Brought in by a boy who said he had picked it up just south of church of St. Dimetrios, where the path starts up to the Philopappos Monument.
