Title:   Seated Female Figurine Fragment

Description:   Upper part of figurine.
Mended from two fragments; preserved nearly to the waist. The throne on the left preserved nearly to the top, on the right broken away.
The back flat.
Traces all over of heavy white slip; remains of dark red paint on the front of the dress, and a faint trace of yellow.
Pinkish buff clay, stained and blackened.
Archaic type.
Context:   Rectangular rockcut shaft.
