Description: | Broken on three sides. Part of circumference, front, back preserved. Part of front surface missing. Circular mold with parts of chin, mouth, nose of human face, set within circle of radiating loops. Beyond loops along edge of mold there is a circular line and within part of a straight line. Smooth back. Fabric: pinkish-yellow to gray-brown. Cf. T 4095 for similar subject from different mould. ADDENDA RVN: Mold for shield with gorgoneion as T 4090, T 4092, T 4095. See also T 4085. | |
