Title:   Standing Draped Female Figurine Fragment

Description:   Upper part of a figure.
Head missing. Broken in a slanting line from the waist to the right thigh.
Right arm at shoulder, left arm below elbow. At the back, the upper part of a rectangular firing hole is preserved; the back is made perfectly plain, rounded, but without modeling or drapery. The figure was clad in a high girt chiton, and had locks of hair falling to the shoulders in front.
Traces of white paint front and back. Mold made; hollow.
Clay, light red, fired to gray at the core.

Context:   Cave, 2.40 below lintel. Just above lower fill: end of 4th to early 2nd c. B.C.
