| Notes: | In the trench just N of rear wall of House P near NW corner = R III. We have found a good many fragments of the same bowl which Wace got out in part in this same place last week. [James-Nakassis: much is unclear. We don’t know how deep he is digging (perhaps starting at 0.60?) or what bowl he is referring to (there is no reference to Wace getting any pots out. There are a number of pots which record their findspot as "SW of altar just north of rear wall of House P =R III .65-.75". This is probably the same as this basket, and if so then the elevation of this basket would be -0.65 to -0.75.] | |
