Corinth Basket: NB980 B64 P141
Collection:   Corinth
Type:   Basket
Name:   NB980 B64 P141
Area:   Panaghia north
Category:   Basket/zembil
Notebook:   980
Context:   64
Page:   141
Date:   2006/06/14
Stratum:   light brownish brown, very soft, 10% fine-coarse pebbles, 40% cobbles, moderately sorted fine sand
Notes:   B64 is for the removal of the cobbly area to the SW of the tile feature. After a shallow pass, the earth at the bottom of B64 appears to be the same as B63. The reddish brown area borders B64 to the E but does not seem to run under it. This reddish brown earth likely marks the cut for the water channel entering Trench 980 from Trench 978, and coninuing to the tile feature. If so, the reddish earth is actually later than the cobbly earth of B64, and will receive its own basket (65).
