Stratum:   Exploratory pass.
Notes:   The matrix of this basket is reddish brown sandy silt, weakly cemented, with 5-10% pebble and cobble inclusions. B10 is an exploratory pass to the W and N of B9. This area was last dug in NB976 B36 and B55 and for the most part it was considered to be a silty fill. The purpose of this pass is to investigate if B9 continues further to the W but also to see if the matrix is a consistent fill, or whether there are some differences in it. After one pass a concentration of roof tile fragments in a light brown soil are uncovered at ca. 970-971.2 N and 406-407 E. It is decided to stop this basket at this point.
