Notes:   The matrix of this basket is medium brown sandy silt, loose, with 2-5% pebble inclusions. B23 was identified as a softer layer on the S scarp of the pit (B's 4, 5, 6, 7, 8) when B21 was being excavated. It could be considered as remains of the pit that were not dug on one or more of its baskets. B23 was stopped when the same layer that formed the bottom of the pit was reached.
