Notes:   The matrix of this basket is medium brown sandy silt, compact, with 5% pebble inclusions. B 34 is the bottom layer of B32. It was decided to excavate it after the clay floor from B33 seemed to go underneath this area. After one pass more fill of roof tile fragments and large cobbles was uncovered, attached to W294 and extending for ca. 0.75 m. to the W, and is probably associated with the roof tile and cobble fill dug in B27. Another pass revealed even more of this roof tile and cobble fill which extends for ca. 2.3 m. to the west of W294 and ca. 0.8 m. to the N of the clay blob. The rest of the area of B 34 to the N until the N scarp consists of medium brown soil mixed with pebbles. This basket produced a significantly large quantity of pottery in comparison to the size of the area that was excavated.
