Stratum:   Loose cobbly fill. Soil is medium reddish brown sandy clay, 20% pebbles, 60% cobbles, loose.
Notes:   B 15 is a loose cobbly fill that we have observed for a while running from W 265 to the south and sitting roughly in the middle of the large area of fill (c 8m wide) between walls 284 and 289. Seveal amphora sherds of some size are in this basket. We leave a few large diagnostic pieces (mouths and handles) in situ for a photograph. We found an egg-shapped stone with a suspension hole pierced through it. As B 15 ends, we come across a greenish clay layer. See top plan pg. 29.
