Stratum:   Fill, very dark, yellowish-brown, silty compact, 10% inclusions, poorly sorted, pebbles and cobbles
Notes:   Pass to remove a layer of soil covering the robbing trench revealed in basket 25. This basket revealed very little pottery, but a single coin. We were able to trace the trench further, but then learned that it was again covered by the fill to the north of the block feature west of the diamond tile pool (B 17-20). Because we now think this fill is later than the robbing trench, we are going to shift back to this area in the next basket to determine the extent of the fill.
