Title:   N. section Room 8 - Leveling Fill
Category:   Deposit
Notebook:   1111
Context:   130
Date:   2016/06/15
Stratum:   10% tile; 15% stone: 10% coarse pebbles, 5% medium pebbles.
Description:   The soil color is dark brownish black. The soil compaction is soft. The soil is well sorted. It is clayey silt.
Notes:   -130 has fewer inclusions than 111 and 119 and is more well-soted; 130 is slightly harder, with fewer inclusions than 121; 130 is softer and less reddish than 124.
-Exavation of siltier, looser soil with fewer inclusions, in N. section of trench, along wall 49 and surrounding pit (context 121/123). This area isolated during excavation of context 124 and is adjacent to the N. end of this context, but is much softer/less compact.
-Aim is to find floor level in this area of room.
-Earth underneath is harder, more reddish and more uniform. Floor seems to be preserved in patches, mostly along S. edge of context, and seems to drop below level of earth to the S. This is interrupted to the N. and E. by patches of softer, more brownish earth; floor is either not preserved at this level, or is preserved at lower level.
